BAGATELLE HOUSE

This project involved the complete design of all interior finishes and decoration of a newly built villa. The house consisted of a Living / Dining Room, TV Room, Kitchen, Laundry, Veranda, Mezzanine Games Room, 2 x Teenager's Bedrooms, Office, 4 x Bathrooms, Master and Guest bedroom. Calming earthy tones with demolition stone, copper, recycled and natural hardwood elements were used within the key spaces, with pops of blues and greens through the rest of the living areas.  The areas were enhanced by paintings collected by the client from famous local Mauritian artists, such as Malcolm de Chazal, Jean-Claude Baissac and Pascal Lagesse. The teenagers bedrooms were designed according to a football theme with a red for Liverpool FC room and Blue for Chelsea FC room.
