ENGEN PETROLEUM (Mauritius)

This project involved the redecoration of the Reception Area and Staff Mess Room at Engen's Head Office at the Free Port in Port Louis. The two spaces were revamped over two weekends, to avoid disturbing operations during working hours, which included installing new false ceilings, laminate flooring, repainting, new furniture and a recycled wood cladding feature wall in the reception area. A decorative screen was designed to enhance the reception desk and a back panel lit up by blue RGB lighting was added with the Engen logo behind the reception desk, to create a striking focal point to the space. All the wooden furniture items were manufactured in house by De la Haye Interiors carpentry team and the project was fully coordinated by De la Haye Interiors design team. In the mess room the space was completely renovated with a new ceiling, flooring, flat screen TV, chairs, bar counter and a timeline of Engen's history was developed as a eye catching wallpaper feature wall.
