AIRPORT OF RODRIGUES: VIP LOUNGE

This project was the renovation of the VIP Lounge at the Airport of Rodrigues. The lounge has an open area, which had to cater for 18- 20 lounge armchairs, that could also be moved around for events. A bar counter services area, laptop desk and male and female toilets were also designed within the space. The lounge had an existing wall painted mural by a local artist, which needed to be incorporated with the final design. Timber Wall cladding was added to accentuate the mural, false ceiling with woven rattan borders, new wood flooring, divider screens, scenic artworks and custom made arm chairs made of rattan and wood were added to reflect the Rodrigues culture and lifestyle.
